Through a mix of module-based lectures, writing activities, passage analysis, and workshop/revision time, our workshops are designed to be as engaging as possible for middle school writers. Click the link below to receive updates and details when workshops open up.
For students grades 10-12
We do not currently have any workshop opportunities for students in grades 10-12. However, please stay tuned, because we are currently in the process of planning an additional in-person workshop series for this age group!
For teachers & librarians

Why The Inkroot Project
For teachers, The Inkroot Project gives students a chance to dive deeper into creative writing outside the classroom. We offer spaces where young learners can play with language, build confidence, and explore their ideas through writing. Our programs are designed to complement and enrich your English Language Arts curriculum.
For students, The Inkroot Project is a low-stakes, flexible way to explore creative writing and connect with other young writers. Although there is no “right” way to write, our goal is to provide you with the arsenal of literary techniques at a writer’s disposal to help you create thought-provoking, engaging works.
