ABOUT US

Based in Seattle, The Inkroot Project is a student-led nonprofit working to spread the transformative power of creative writing.

Our goal is to inspire young people to engage in the craft of creative writing, which we believe is vital to self-expression, communication, and social change. We seek to help the unique voices of each young writer flourish on the page; we strive to provide young writers with the necessary literary tools to verbalize their experiences, hopes, and dreams.
